Why did you become a physiotherapist?
As a young athlete I was in and out of physiotherapy clinics for various injuries and had good experiences through the rehabilitation process. I soon realized that to be a physiotherapist would be a great profession and a rewarding career. Everyday I get to interact and connect with people, help clients heal from a variety of injuries and be active throughout my day.
What did you learn about physiotherapy as you were going through school that you didn’t know before?
That physical therapy can help treat cardiorespiratory and vestibular conditions.
What conditions do you like to treat?
I enjoy treating the lower extremity (hips, knees, ankles) as well as concussions.
What is your ‘rehab philosophy?
Exercise is medicine.
